3 Phase expansion project

Phase One: (Completed) the basement renovation to provide prayer hall facilities for the sisters. This will be used for regular halaqa, study circles, and daily activities.
Phase Two: (Work in progress) Expansion of the Mosque’s main hall to provide extra space during Ramadan and at Friday prayer. It will also provide facilities for youth education and weekend activities. This project also includes a two-storey extension to establish funeral service and body wash facilities for the Muslim community in Blackburn and an Ablution facility for brothers and sisters on both floors.
Phase Three: Aim to purchase two attached houses for parking facilities and future expansion of Darussalam. Building floor-level for parking and first & second floors for prayer facilities. First and second floor to open up the mosque’s existing floor projected cost for phase 3: £400,000
